    I'm self taught and only play in privadcy. I'm far far away from being accomplished enough to play for others. I just enjoy the music.
    The dulcimer I play primarily is a mountain or lap dulcimer. I have a hammered dulcimer that I tinker around on, but I do better on a lap dulcimer.
    Before I went into semi-retirement, I was a full time corrections officer for the county jail.

    Thanks for your gracious comments. I enjoy being on the board. I got really interested in the conservative things as well as world affairs when I took a World Affairs Class in the fall of 2001. My professor was an advisor to the special forces during that time. I did my project for that fall on Biological Terrorism. Aced the class. Many of the references and paper sites that I post from were recommended by the instructor. I am a widow and enjoy being here because it is lonely here in my neck of the wooes. My husband passed away in 2006 and he was 23 years older. Was a diver in WWII.
